NaviDic Privacy Policy

In order to protect the personal information of the information subject (customer) in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act, NaviDic discloses the personal information processing guidelines as follows in order to promptly and smoothly handle related grievances.

1. Purpose of processing personal information

NaviDic processes personal information for the following purposes, and does not use it for purposes other than the following.

• - Confirmation of customer's intention to join
• - Identification and authentication according to the provision of services to customers
• - Membership maintenance and management, etc.

2. Processing and retention period of personal information

a. NaviDic processes and retains personal information within the period of retention of personal information agreed upon when collecting personal information from the information subject, retention of personal information according to the period of use or laws, and the period of use.

b. Specific personal information processing and retention periods are as follows.

• - Customer registration and management: Until the service use contract or membership subscription is canceled
• - Contract/subscription withdrawal, payment, goods supply record in e-commerce: 5 years

3. Provision of personal information to third parties

NaviDic does not provide personal information to third parties except in cases falling under Article 17 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as the separate consent of the information subject and special provisions of the law.

4. Rights, obligations and methods of exercise of information subjects and legal representatives

The information subject can exercise the following rights related to personal information protection at any time with respect to NaviDic.

• a. Request to read personal information
• b. Request for correction if there are errors in personal information
• c. Request for deletion
• d. Request to stop processing

5. Items of personal information processed

NaviDic handles the following personal information items.

• - user location
• - Answers to questions based on symptoms

6. Destruction of personal information

a. NaviDic destroys the personal information without delay when the personal information becomes unnecessary, such as when the personal information retention period has elapsed or the purpose of processing has been achieved.

b. NaviDic destroys personal information in the following ways.

• - Electronic files: Delete files and format storage media such as disks
• - Written documents: crushed or incinerated

7. Measures to ensure the safety of personal information

NaviDic takes the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information.

• - Administrative measures: establishment and implementation of internal management plans, regular training for employees
• - Technical measures: Management of access rights such as password setting of the personal information processing system (or the computer where personal information is stored), installation of security programs such as vaccine software, and encryption of files in which personal information is stored
• - Physical measures: lock, access control, etc. of the place where personal information is stored
